| Summary, etc. | Since caste conflicts are part of society even today, this article revisits discourses on the origins of caste system in India and the theories associated with it. Caste hierarchy exhibits the truth that power and privileges are given to some and for others it is denied. This article focuses on the relationship based on power within the caste system. This study also focuses on the Reform movements that exposed the evils perpetuated through the practice of caste system whose thoughts reveal their intention to build a humane society. |
