'Equalizing the space' Practically stands for the equal sharing of the spce with 'her'. This sharing is not 'his' charity, but her right. She deserves it. 'Justice' compellingly demands 'him' to vacate the 'encroached' space, which is ought to be kept common, where she also can celebrate her life in its fullness. It is not easy to evacuate the encroachers. 'He' is muscular, influential and bossy in Indian Society. He uses Scriptures, invokes traditions, and takes refuge in prejudiced proverbs, teachings of philosophers and religious fathers to justify his encroachment: social, political, economic, professional, religious and cultural and cyber space. Her condition is such that an attention board with a few cautionary words, 'Trespassers will be prosecuted' will no longer serve in protecting her limited space. Now 'she' is left with one option; boldly claims that 'every common space is my space too' and occupy it. Gender justice is achieved when she enjoys the fruits grown in space, where she also ought to have an equal share. some reflections in this direction are expressed in this paper.
