The author offers a reflective study on the Encyclical Fratelli tutti promulgated by Pope Francis at Assisi, breaking away from the usual papal practice of promulgating such documents from the Vatican, on 3rd October, 2020, the Feast day of Saint Francis of Assisi. The Author claims that he makes a different reading of the document while at the same time keeping in mind the purpose of the document. The article highlights the grave duty the document enjoins upon the leaders of world religions.
