Learning ministry directly from word of God. Called The acts of the apostles, the book of Acts is indeed Luke`s earliest church history. Luke`s story of the life of Christ, and now the growth of the church, is meant to connect with the old testament story: the one true God calling out a specially chosen group of men and women to be His ambassadors to the nations. This book clearly portrays that God`s primary purpose in giving us the book of Acts is to show how he intends to fulfil His purposes in calling people whose hearts are attuned to Him to be His apostles to accomplish His purposes in our generation.
