In this book the author argue that Jesus the Christ is central and foundatinal for all of christian faith and christian action and therefore also for Christian theology. The rather unusual term Christic center emphsizes the point that is the very person of christ and not christology as such that is central. Although the centrality of Christ for Christian faith may seem obvious and beyond debate to a great many people it is necessary to argue this today, over against a number of significant contemporary theologies that would de-center Christ in the life and the faith of the church.
