This article is a revised version of the Lectio Brevis given at Jnana Deepa, Institute of Philosophy and Theology, Pune on 6 June, 2022. The Author argue with Pope Francis's call for a synodal church, that the church is in the process of re-discovering it identity. Journeying together is fast becoming the common feature of ecclesial functioning. A desire to connect with each other and listen to one another, a longing for a community and a sense of belonging to it, a thirst to heaar more about the things of God mark journeying together a wonderful synodal experience.
