Indian Church is blessed with a large number of Religious Sisters, Priests, Brothers, and Lay Missionaries. They come from different Cultural, Linguistic, Regional and ethnic backgrounds. In spite of the good work done by them we often hear that linguistic and cultural differences hinder their effective missionary witnessing in today's world. They are affected by the cultural processes of ethnocentric and relativistic attitudes. Therefoe, the need of the hour is to train and form them to develop intercultural sensitivity and skills for effective intercultural living for the mission. This article is aimed at providing some valuable insights on this subject.
