The publication of this book on theological education in Asia is a welcome development. This book is not so much about the textbook in contemporary history of the churches in Asia as about the stories of schools in Asia that have been engaging productively to address the challenges and issues of the churches, society, and culture. The title echoes the current development, discussions and directions of theological education which also reflect the trajectory of theological trends in Asia.
