this essay examines Swami Vivekanda's Practical Vedanta and its potential for social justice efforts in light of Catholic Social teaching and Fr. Joseph Cardijn's 'review of life' method. This comparison highlights a parallel approach between the two methods in the process of critically examining social contexts through Seeing/ Darsana, Judging/Viveka, and Acting/ Karmin.
