Indian Society is pluralistic more than any other country in the world . People of different religions and culture live in large communities in the country. But is not always a virtue to be pluralistic because such a context has also created chaos as it is evident from the history of India. One reason for this situation is said to be their failure to produce a credible alternative to religion. Therefore, a positive approach to religion and its values is necessary today. This paper contains the awareness of the ontext, nature and purpose of the inter-faith dialogue, mission and communication in the multi-faith context.
